Quality, environment and safety
With a consolidated international presence, we recognize that the impacts associated with the life cycle of our activity are particularly relevant.
Our greatest strength lies in the detailed knowledge of the markets and the quality of the products sold.
It is on these assumptions that FHC bases its sustainability strategy, guaranteeing the necessary balance to satisfy the needs of its customers, while promoting a socially responsible and environmental protection policy.
To this end, we highlight 5 areas in which we are more clearly committed:
Commitment to its human resources as a clearly differentiating factor due to its quality, delivery and vision;
Optimization of the distribution chain, enhancing the cargo transported and the defined route;
Promotion of circular economy principles, ensuring the extension of the useful life of materials and the selection of products with incorporated recycled material and with less environmental impact;
Energy management of facilities, through the definition of means of proximity control in order to ensure efficient use of available resources.
An ambitious project to produce energy for self-consumption is under way, which will allow us to significantly reduce dependence on non-renewable resources.
In early 2023, FHC successfully completed the certification process for the ISO 14001 – Environmental Management and ISO 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management standards, now having, together with the certification in Quality Management – ISO 9001, a Integrated Management System, which will allow us to reinforce the efficiency of the organization's internal processes and responses to the numerous requests we are confronted with.
We know our value and the extent to which our contribution can go, whether in the operation we develop or in the capacity for influence that we seek to promote with our partners, which is why we remain committed to significantly advancing the goal of carbon neutrality.
For each new goal achieved, we renew our responsibility and ambition to do even more and better.
We are permanently focused on continuously improving our performance, aimed at:
Ensure the client's satisfaction through a variety of customised services and the offer of innovative, quality, safe, effective products, that meet the wanted performance or claim;
Optimise the performance of the processes and of the Management System through the best possible use of the resources and technologies available and through effective planning, in order to obtain business and energy performance advantage;
